What’s up people?
Again, it’s been a long time since I last blogged, but with good reason. I’ve been gigging like a mofo, doing the Leicester Comedy festival and even did an Edinburgh preview (in February… Ridiculously early, but well worth it!).
But the biggest news for me recently has been that I’ve been commissioned a BBC Radio4 series! Brap! Brap! Bullet! Bullt! (What the hell does that mean?). Don’t ask me how this has happened. All I know is 2 years ago I did my first Edinburgh, met someone from BBC Radio, blagged for a little bit and now here I am with a radio series.
The show is basically about my life when I graduated from University; turning down a degree in architecture to do stand-up comedy, which my family were delighted about (eyes rolling in sarcasm), and how they try and interfer in my life as I embark on telling jokes for a living.
That’s the show. It’s an exciting thing to do, but I’m not gonna lie I am absolutely crapping myself. I don’t know what to expect. It’s kind of like doing my first Edinburgh again. Also, I don’t have a name for the show, so… if any of you out there have an idea for a name feel free to chuck it at me. Bear in mind what the show’s about though.
Anyway, I’m off.
Hopefully it won’t be too long before I’m back on here.
Peace.
